My knitting pals / Mis amigas tejedoras

It has been 3 years now since I met these ladies (except for my mom, of course) and they have turned out to be a huge and very important part of my life. I dont know what I would do without them. They are friends, confidents, sisters, colleagues, fans, supporters...
I love you guys and I treasure our friendship so much!
These are my knitting pals, from right to left: Ale, Marce Queen, Andre, Mom and me.

My sleeve master / Mi "Sleeve Master"

This last year has been crazy. I published my first adult design in ravelry in December, and I became addicted to this job!
But it actually involved a lot much work than I thought... So much work that it actually left very little time for actual knitting. I can't ask anybody to knit my samples because (at least in my experience), I come up with the final design as I work on it... So I need to do it myself. But I found that I could ask a special lady to do the "dirty" job for me...
This special lady, I call her my "Sleeve Master". She receives my sleeveless sample, partially wound balls of yarn, and very rought directions like:

_You know what to do right? You make the sleeve cap and then decrease as usual, you know... Call me when you get up to here, see? The middle of my forearm... And we'll see if this is working... And otherwise we froG, right? Well, call me! And hurry up!_

Yes, I know, this lady is someone too special... This lady is my Mom.
I am so very blessed to have her supporting me in everything that I have started and envisioned. And I am blessed to have her in my life for many other reasons! But I felt like this one was special to have her in my blog...

I LOVE YOU MOM!!!
